depends on your needs. you know that you shouldnt look up to the screen, lower screens are more healthy for you neck.

i suggest to build your own. did this 2 times and was always happy with it.

google studio desk, there is alot

good luck with it!

cheers

it depends what you want.

i have the novation too (automap software). i setted it up, but never really used it.

for the steinberg controller... its very expensive. i used every function to get an idea... in the end i dont use the EQ section and the AI knob just very rarely... but all the other functions really integrates into cubase, the automatic fader is great for mixing the volume of each track... i also use the transport field and all the other basic buttons. and there are the 4 free setable buttons (cubase functions) where i have my "undo zoom" "open mixer" routings setted.

you cant controll vsts with this controller. its just for the workflow with cubase, and thats awesome for my useage. so if you want it, you have to place it right in front of you, otherwise you will end up not really using it, because you use the mouse etc...

the desk is about 1,65meter, and the screens are 24" and 22"

My modest setup. 2x KRK Rokit5, 23" and 17" displays, Nanokeys by korg and my Roland Quad Capture audio interface.

Very happy with this, just have to sound proof the room later

The speakers are on two drawers behind the table to give me workspace and also to get them on a better level

Heyall, i saw some desks on Ikea website they have a series called Vika - nice cheap 'create a table' desks. my question is do u think 120*60 will be enough? im planning to get a midi keyboard (49 key probably) so i donno if it will fit right with all other stuff (keyboard, mouse, preamp, soundcard) thanks..

yeah 120/60 should be enough, but its always a tradeoff where to place the controllers vs keyboard mouse etc...

a standard 49key is about 82cm long... calculate for yourself

I've got 2500mm X 65mm A long one, where all thrash I can think off may find its place, which is pretty annoying
