[UPDATE FROM MARCH 10th:]
Hello Tribe!
Both global and local in its philosophy, Desiderata will be the hand-crafted, boutique gathering that we
have always dreamt of. Hopelessly creative and driven by our relentless pursuit of happiness, we will revel.
All art, every form of ecstatic expression will be enjoyed.
Play with us. Evolve with us.
We've been keeping pretty busy these past few days since the last update. Now, we are anxious
to share some of the developments.
EARLY TICKET PRESALE, POSSIBLE EXTENSION:
We returned from Mohawk on Tuesday to discover that the first batch of tickets for family and friends
has almost sold out. It was very endearing to see so many familiar names in the purchase confirmations.
At the time of writing this update, we have 62 tickets left. It looks like they will be gone by tonight.
Originally, we expected this batch to sell out within two weeks or so, but... what do ya know.
We are now considering a possible extension to the early pre-sale, before we disclose most of the projects,
start the big promotional push, and raise the price. Let us know what you think about this, but please
keep in mind that we can only afford to allocate a limited amount of tickets at low prices.
Some folks asked where they could get their tickets. At the moment, they are only available at
http://www.desideratafestival.com
LINEUP, PROJECTS:
Hoping that you took the time to explore the projects already revealed, we are releasing a few more:
FILTERIA, BABYLON SYSTEM, SOUL SURFER, ANTISERUM, ROOMMATE, SOUTWILD, OSC,
RASTALIENS [DJ], EKOPLEX.
Projects revealed on March 5th include:
JAIA, JUNO REACTOR [ DJ ], WIZACK TWIZACK, TRANSDRIVER, ANDROMEDA, BLUETECH,
PHATMATIX, CHROMOSOME, PARVATI FAMILY [10 year anniversary tour],
ENCEPHALOPATICYS, ONKEL DUNKEL, JAHBO, GUISEPPE [Parvati], GRAPES OF WRATH.
To date, a little over 200 projects have joined Desiderata. We wont give 'em all away in one shot,
no no - we want to make it a little more interesting by announcing several artists at a time,
building a bit of excitement, give you a moment to explore.
We know it's a tease, but we're trying to have a little fun here too, projects will be automatically revealed
every few days.
ENGAGE:
Do a good thing - invite your friends and all evolved, responsible beings. If you feel that Desiderata
will benefit them, please do so now.
Instructions on how to invite people are not included. We're pretty sure you know how to do that.
