@ Aciduss, dreadieg, jekvan, DH, and others who are on the interesting side topic:
I have been going to festivals and parties for only 4 years but even so I have seen a decline in the motivations of the party-goers. By this I mean that as opposed to every person in the place stomping around the dance floor ALL night and into the sunrise, everyone with a smile on their face and a litter free campsite, I am seeing people passed out in fields littered with beer cans, food wrappers, people saying 'woah man yeah it was killerz last night i wuz soooo fucked up!'. Need I mention the fact that no one took notice of the music being played/no one uses these events as a spiritual retreat anymore.
I guess all these feelings have been stated previously, but I must say, I feel very strange to being so enamored with this style of music when I disagree with the state of being manifested by so many at these events.
That being said I have experienced the wonder and transformation these parties can catalyze, and I like to partake in a edible fun as well, but I think we need to keep things in perspective, and keep in mind what we are really trying to accomplish here.
As stated earlier, we are the trumpets of this symphonic orchestra.
