the first derango track i heard was "sluggy" from "tales from the dark forest". that one and KDD's "may muna" was my favorite from that album.
i wouldn't call it "chainsaw music" quite, i actually think its kind of squishy and bouncy - very nice.
they've managed to pull off a very good psychedelic sound without being all irritating (speaking of catla...)

I ordered the derang-tumult cd like a week ago. It should be here any damn day. Every day I wake up and the first thing I think about is checking my mail. Damn it, when will it get here!!!
although I did hear some of the tracks on the internet, and I must say. This cd is what I have been searching for, the exact kind of psy I dig.

it took me about two months to sort of completely figure out their wizadry in their album tumult .. each track is so complex that the patterns start taking shape after ten to fifteen listens
full respect to derango !!

when we were in the US recently we kept hearing about Derango - I just went and checked their site and now I know what the fuss is about - verrrry nicely produced, awesome stuff, well done guys
