Hey...mr. Astronom....wish ya heaps of fun here and I'm looking ffwd to ur other festival, the bigger one...I'm considering coming back to Europe even earlier because of this so maybe reserve me a spot to play  Take care and goodluck with both parties   Mind Funk Records

wow there is not even one sigle thread where u are not bitching again somebody....
i dunno when i meet u in real i allways thought u are a nice guy but when i read ur total bullshit u produce every day here in the forum i starting to think ur are a real asshole.
did u forgot the police cald allready ur friend one time cuz u was using his computer to produce even worse shit in other forums?
Anyway realy looking forward to this party and to meet the middle german psyppl.
we will have for sure some fullpower days down there!!!!!!!

what? I didnt know this story about the police calling my friend, sounds interesting, please do elaborate, I always like Cops & Robbers stories. Can I be the bad guy, I always liked the bad guys better than the good guys, when I was a kid I always wanted Skeletor to win over He-Man.
Anyways, Im not the only one who is annoyed by Shawnodeses constant self-promotion, ive been making fun about it in pms with others for a while, but someone needs to tell him to stop that, he is making a complete ass out of himself, he comes across like a total loser. Do you know him Ankur? If so, give him some friendly advice and tell him to stop it. Maybe hell even get more bookings this way.

But wouldn't it be better handled in PMs or email? It is kind of ridiculous to see in most threads for open-air parties him (or anybody else...not that it is so common otherwise) *publicly* begging to be booked. Regardless of what you think of him as a DJ, it seems to be pretty damned inappropriate. If the organizers want to book a DJ or not, they should be able to do it without public pressure. It just seems a bit desperate otherwise, IMO. I organize several parties per year, and somebody is going to get a hell of a lot further if they contact me privately than if they try to pressure me publicly (which would pretty much puts them on my permanent ignore list).
Keep it in PMs or email...seriously.

also dont think that shawnodese does too much promotion in this way... ur "anti-promtion" aje is kinda more nerv wrecking... everywhere arguments where u r involved... and most times u r aggressive and disrespectful... but ok, maybe u dont give a fuck about karma and that stuff... sad to see such ppl running around in the scene...
to go ontopic... it sounds like a nice party... maybe i`ll manage to go there... |
