this denormalization plugin does not close any other plugins. it doesn't optimize the plugins. it only makes the signal louder than certain unaudible threshold which CPU's use to change to denormal state which consumes CPU time.

For example, let's say the threshold would be -300 dB. If we feed 0 dB signal to a feedback delay and wait long enough, the signal will attenuate below that -300 dB threshold. This is when CPU (or FPU that is) starts switching between denormal and normal state causing CPU peaks. This is because other plugins still may have signals above the threshold. Properly programmed plugins will cut the signal to zero under given threshold, which doesn't cause problems. All this denormalizer does is send some none-zero signal to the plugin so that the signal level will always be above the threshold. It's tackling the problem other way around.

Hope this explains it better...

What is the point of this plugin?

If some plugin consume all CPU when there is no signal then you can't use this plugin at all, there is no point to have zero CPU while track is on pause and then have large peak to CPU software will consume.

Explain if i'm wrong.

if a plugin uses up all cpu when there is no signal, this plugin is useful, because it creates a signal below the hearing threshold. that way the plugin uses as much cpu as it uses if there was a useful signal fed to it. you didn't really understand what is said there.           http://myspace.com/voxproject
