i am going to buy a sound card. My budget is about 250 euros. And i don't know which one to buy between this 2 cards.
Is it better to buy the 44 because it has the converters outside (i read it is better because you have less noises from the pc), but this one has no Midi, i could by some midi device in the future.
or better go for the audiophile whom has got midi but the converters are inside the pc.
i am not planning to use Midi in/out, but in the future i would like to (one keyboard)
If there are other alternatives to this 2 cards, but with similar budget, they will be welcome.
Thanks and keep psy!!!

The converters-outside thing is only good if you plan to record audio, but I assume you are.
Take the 44, and use the MIDI on whatever shitty sound blaster/onboard you got right now

I use Audiophile 24/96
those cards are basically the same with the only difference of number of i/o.
The Audiophile has MIDI port.
So, it's a matter of needs. I satisfied with what i've got for my needs

yeah, i agree with mike
the 44 has more i/o but the audiophile has midi
its quite easy to get midi using a joystick midi cable to plug it to your computer onboard, or also its quite cheap to get a midi interface.
yeah, the 44 seems to be a better buy i think
