Good for hearing, but for making music you need a speaker that can give low frequencies in one box, and not split it into sub-woofer and a speaker with mid and tweeter. The reason is because you don't know how much bass you really have on the track, and if you need to have more or less bass, or whatever. Even if you put the bass knob on the middle, it doesn't guarantee a flat response. The sub-woofer is placed in a different location that your speakers and a lot of technical stuff. |

which speakers and which subwoofer? Mike I thinkg yer a little bit wrong here... A sub woofer can only allow you to hear lower freqs at higher volumes. Which makes it listen to the sound better

Another important thing is to buy the subwoofer from the same serie of the same company... Then it will have more possibilty to actually cross high freqs of the woofer with the low freqs of the speaker on the same freq, so you won't hear the same freq from the woofer and the speaker at the same time! :) |

That was exactly my point, you have a certain frequency that you hear too high. |

Well it's too late now...but i am quite happy with my speakers I think i will understand what u (Mike) r talking about only when i will actually make a track.. Thanks anyways. |
