Hello friends,
I've just bought a second-hand M-Audio Delta 44 and it rocks. Really impressed with this little metal box
But i cannot get it to work THE WAY i thought it would!
In the mixer cubase i can see the channels and faders for the inputs on the Delta 44, BUT how do i hear VST or Cubase FX (like delay, reverb) applyed to these inputs (in real-time, not after saving the input as an audio track)?
I can only hear the inputs if in the delta control panel when i select monitor mixer or the inputs 1/2 (or 3/4), but then i can't hear the FX applyed in cubase!
I've been digging the manual but it ain't helping! :/
Any suggestions? Or does anyone here has a similar setup?
Thanks,
Joćo

under file/preferences in the VST section put "auto monitoring" to tapemachine style.
The delta control panel should be set to WavOut1/2 and 3/4.
then just make sure to him monitor on the audio track that your recording with/have the plugin loaded into as an insert or whatever. |

Hi,
Bumping this topic to add a few more questions:
- Is there any switch box, or alike, to switch from sending the output of a soundcard, like the delta 44, to monitors and headphones? If this box would also control gain, it would be great, since in some delta 44 setups i have no chance to control the volume.
Thanks!
Joao
