Yea, Mayt-June is the best time to travel the road from Rohtang....... Bike from Manali is a killer option but i personally am a game for a ride from Dilli......... i am truely in Love with the roadway through the heaven........ have had an experience before from Dilli until Rohtang....... was exciting fun, beautiful HIMALAYAS......... Beas along the roadway makes it an incredible & wholesome nature ride......
Specially the ride from Bhuntar through Kullu & then further Manali until the skies........
And yes May-June we may also get to find some parties around......
@ All: Any estimate on how many & who all like to go ahead with this one around May-June.... plan ur work & chuttis...... & we'll work out.......

i personally wanna ride from mumbai !!!!
i have been riding for almost 5 years now
couple of things to keep in mind
renting a byke from manali is not easy for indians
and the condition of the bykes are also not good
the better option is renting a byke from delhi and ride till manali, so that u know the condition of the byke by the time u reach manali, manali -leh is no childs play, u need really good condition bykes
may -june is a good option

hey guys well before adding forther to this thread, first just let me give u my biref intro - basically from kashmir, worked in delhi from 93 - 2002 and have been to all mahayagya and other outdoors happening in delhi in those times.. unfortunately had to move to indoor which meant no more psy gigs.. hehehe lol. but i guess it wasnt over, coz a few days back came to delhi for a day for some work and met my old friens nick and sid ... man was shocked to see the kind of tracks they were makin and all that was happening here in this scene. wat next ? hehehe.. very simple went back to indoor, resigned and came bk for good.
now coming back to the point... lot of self talkin.. lol
i have already discussed it wid nik n sid bout this trip to kashmir.. i have a house right in the middle of a jungle where we can party all day long and u all know wat else.. will be a killer time. well our plans were to book air tikets for may, but if this scene is on dogon baba, then who cares a fuck bout airplane.. we all join the joyride. i assure kashmir will drive u crazy guys n also many of us have already been to manali a lot of times already ( mostly ) let's give it a change. change is always good

nice idea. would like to be a part .
i m in bbay, but i cant ride a bike.  . although dogon baba keep me posted man.
i know of this grp 60kphers, they are very active in thier quest for travellin.

Hey guys! Good Luck. I've driven by by jeep (hectic) upto Leh through Rohtang and all those other crazy passes you cross. There are some mad adventures - snow avalanches blocking the roads in June, waiting for th army convoys, a beautiful lake ahead of Leh - Penong So? I don't know how to spell but it shares the border with China. Fucking phenomenal!
If you have the time and like to travel, the way back if it is ahead to Delhi, then you drive down a differnt rout through Sri Nagar, and past Tiger Hill.
It is an intense intense ride...Have a good one guys!!!
