May be someone already thought about it ...
I suggest "Recycle Bin" solution for removing thereads and messages. The area will be accessed only by moderators.

yes nothing is deleted but obtains status -1
i can see/restore and so on any second
but since the forum beginning i didn't see any need for it and nobody asked for it
