ive got a voice sample which im using in a tune but i want the delay on it to be carried for a 16 beat break, but i dont want the delay to interfere with the sample as it plays for the first time. I only want it to start wth the delay when the break begings??

Any ideas or tips?

that i understand but if i put a delay onto the sample it overlaps with itself and creates a distort mess...i only want the delay to begin over the break...

create a seperate channel, mixdown wet. cut off the first part of the sample on the mixdown. crossfade both audio tracks.           www.organicparadox.com
