Delay on bass

yeah thank you.
One more which stays in mind for long and must solve this.How to seperate mono only?And keep the rest in stereo.How to monofy it with eq without loosing the rest & what kind of eq or which type of m/s plugin and how this thing works?
Still don't know it and must get it.
Would be nice if someone would invest their time for an nice answer,I won't give up though but would very appriciate some help from someone that really knows or can explain without loosing too much energy

dont know if it helps but in cubase you can simply send your stereo bass track to a mono group track..then the signal from there on is in mono..and for stereo processing send it to an stereo au/effect track..at the same time..

thank you very much.Gonna check it.
Have already done one attempt and makes fun,have assigned the needed channels to mono groups.
Today was a downer somehow I changed sth and it was overall too much noise.
Have tried all possible and that much possibilities are actually not there.Don't know what it is,thinking even about a better soundcard,but yesterday it was alot of less of this noise.

aXis asked me to share a bionic delay preset some time ago, don't know if someone still wants it.
Anyways, here is an mp3 example of a delay bassline I made, the bionic delay preset is also included. I'm not a pro, and I did not use a lot of time on the example.

cool ok!!! i think we can use delay on bass important thing is that delays should be hipassed becouse otherwise you will have phase problems also i think delay could be interresting if bass is not straight but syncopated so u can make interresting effect with it like upcoming bass or something....ping pong delay also can be usefull...i think ive heard this kinda effects in old Logic Bomb or mmm ithink maybe Alternative control - theater of magic....im not sure but as i remember there is bass with delay))) main thing - is to keep phase clean to have clear goovy pumpin effect. sidechain also can be very usefull!!! |

hey icedice ,kind of you to share your preset for delay on bass.
I wish I could throw an eye on it but somehow bionic delay does not work anymore since I work on cubase 4 .

i'm trying to widen my bassline by making a clone bass and use hp150hz on it. keeping the original deep mono. then useing delay on clone with under 20ms delay (hard left & right) on it to make it stereo..
i've tried a bunch of methods;
-cloning the clone then pan 1left - 1right. then offset 1 somewhere under 20ms..
-FL stereo imager. i've tried all possible settings..
-voxengo stereo touch
-different delays..
my problem is, I always end up with a lob-sided bass.
sounds like the mono shifts a bit left or right. or something like that.
do u know what i'm saying?
any advice.

Just use elvantya widerboy pro,, then just narrow the image so it don't mask other stereo sounds.
Done!

Here is what I done that worked pritty well, I group send the bassline(post fader) to bionic delay 100% wet (ping pong) and then elvatya wider boy(certain settings) , distortion(ubiks) and at the bottom of the chain I had bxcontrol set to 120hz in mono and widened the image I also had quadrafuzz in that chain aswell as the kick,it's importaint that the chain is in a certain order of first and last.
The out come was pritty sweet.
You can now also put anything in there eg leads,percs,fx,vocals it will all mesh pritty nicly. I also had sonnox gate just to tighten things up slightly and limiter (optional)

i'll give this a try.. i'll have to substitute a few plugs. like i cant use quadrafuzz so i have to use something else..
quadrafuzz is a multiband distortion plugin, i think? i use 'psp mix saturater'
