what do u think about Delay Lama ?
I think its kinda amateurish...
Its appear in many full on trax everybody use iT, iTs become sux !
Alien Project I can understand, He was from the firsts who use iT and he use it well..
But look at Kamasytrance's trax and the new PsyCraft RMX for Psysex's Amphitamaniac and look what a "shchuna"

Hmmm.. I know what you mean man. It sounds really "grainy" to my ear, I much prefer the smooother vocal sounds that are on, say, Psycide's album or Shpongle 1.
Or what about that vocal synth sound on track 4 on the last Cosmosis album ("trust your nervous system....") Bwwwuuu- bu
Then again, to get a really nice "voice"-ey sound like that you need a pretty shit-hot synth, I reckon; I certainly can't do it on my AN1x. So take what you can get, I guess!

Well, I agree that there´re to much Delay Lama voice in full on tracks, but I still like to play with it.
But there´re several tracks that u can´t really realise Delay Lama is there....

Psysex - Puzzle - the most intelligent use of Delay lama i've heard recently.
don't diss somthing just becuase it's in common use. the fact that some people can't get a decent output with it is an enitrely different subject.

Well, there you have it...
The danger with using to much software/simulated stuff's, is that you end up sounding like everyone else.
Software is really easy to get, and computers are not that expensive today..
If you want to create your own sound, your own image, you'll need hardware!!!

Well if you ask m i would tell you..............
It's ok but it ain't original.............you feel that it sounds good at first but then it becomes very sucky over a period of time n you feel like you have stolen a part of an alien project track........hehehehe
Well its a good vsti but it's again too common and there is barely any variation in the different sounds you can create with it.....

I didnt said anything about this track. I dont care that ppl will use iT, but do iT original.
Most of the full on makers do iT "shcuna".

That (very silly sound is a Nord Modular.
Mainly created using the sample reduction module.
BTW, I do not recommend the Nord Mod. I sold mine years ago.
Unless you are talking about the very first vocal sounding funky riff on the same track ("Dissociation" - Intergalactic album) after the introduction which is an Access Virus with single saw wave going into 2 x band pass filters (in parallel) with opposing envelopes one going up, one going down. Each with approx. 25% resonance.
Tweak the two cutoffs so that they are offset to each other. Velocity to cutoff mod.
Have fun,
Bill

Thats just bullshit mr Ulf! and you know it!
original sounds dosent have any limits! you can create them with both software and hardware!
just because you have a big love for hardware you dont have to slag software.
i my self like both hardware and software and think both can give me original results, a own image if you want to call it that.
