Deeper in Zen- Balance (Soular, Oct. 2002)
1. In Between the Outside 7:13
2. Sacred Truth 7:03
3. Intelligent Energy 8:44
4. A Way In 6:58
5. Process in Motion 7:49
6. Vast Expanse 8:11
7. Simply Infinite 8:07
8. Integral Approach 7:40

A debut album for New York based act Deeper in Zen after few tracks in the first New York based Soular's compilation- Awakening. Something good is coming out of the big apple. This is a bouncy full on psychedelic album, that is more than just a collection of sounds, from an artist that I think really tries to say something in his music for a change. It's a very danceable and psychedelic album, with strong drive all along and a nice build, and full of dancefloor stormers. Tight! Standouts are the dark hectic Intelligent Energy, penetrating A Way In, and explosive Simply Infinite.

Bottom Line: Full on all the way- and in a good way. Favorites: 2, 3(!), 4(!), 6, 7.
