Sunline Records is an emergent music label with an old school spirit driven by Dj Zen also known as “Astral Waves” from Canada.
Active in psychedelic trance scene since 1995, Dj Zen was dreaming about settling up his own label to share his taste for delicate sounds, trippy danceable beats and his passion for Mother Nature.
Sunline Records logo represents the Egyptian Scarab flying to the sun, a symbol of immortality and deep peace of mind.

Artists Profile:

Starting with [Eastern Spirit] who is Jerusalem’s electronic music veterans Ran Salman & Nir Azilov. On 2001 they joined the Chillout scene, involving trance elements with jazz and ambient sounds and containing ethnic and oriental elements and percussions creating a wide angle soundscape which suits the term Eastern Spirit.
On October 2004 the label Aleph Zero Records released “Natural Born Chillers”. a chillout compilation, and the track “Under Water” was chosen to end the compilation.

[Kalpataru Tree] is Curtis Humphrey. Production, composition, guitar, bass guitar, beats, synth, is channeled into digital reality by himself in his Oregon’s studio, USA. Drea Drury has made several guest appearances as a sonic sorceress, conjuring up voice magic.

[Rainbow Aura] is Alain Matheron and Gabriel D. (Dj Zen) friends for long time, both born in France.
They started to compose Dub music some time ago and they’ll continue to explore more musical styles in the future. Alain is a classical piano composer and teacher.

Very talented [Signal to Noise] band presents their first release “Travelling Chip” written by brothers Homem in Toronto,Canada.They also have recorded all percussions for this tune in their studio!

[Shen] needs no introduction, he’s Noah Pred from Vancouver, Canada. He’s “one of the most talented young producers in electronic music today ” Kick Mag (Canada), Dj Times (USA), Upfront (UK), ect..

[Phully], Auckland based DJ and producer with over ten years of experience under his belt, is about to release his long awaited, first full length artist album ‘Phullyosophy Vol 1’.Another great music veteran here with a delightful track!

[Kukan Dub Lagan] needs no introduction as well, he’s Itay Berger from Israel, known for his “sunshine music for smiling people”
This track has something special with a style never heard until now: Goa-Dub!

[Idael] is another side-project from Dj Zen, this one more freestyle oriented, exploring the Dub side of Trip-Hop melted with a strong Mid-Oriental vibe.

[Astral Waves] continues “Rhythm of the Stars” started by Idael with a delightful flute song. This project is also another one named by Dj Zen.

“Illusion of Eternity” tune is following,it is made by the same artist with a more Trancy-Dub touch dedicated to Tibet people: ”Free like a bird” voice is sampled to give us the illusion of having Tibet free of Chinese invasion....some day.

Finally [Dj Zen] closes with his best track ever made in his unique deep Dub music style. The sample “I believe in something greater than myself, a better world, a world without sin” delivers an incredible positive end to this great compilation…
