You mean like those things that pull all the sound up like in astrix breaks before sound comes in?
Try reversing a big BANG like a bomb sample or something like that...if needed put pich up or down...i do that a lot, reversing big bangs, lol
but didn't get very well if thats what u wanted... |

hm...
the sound actually makes the place move
like in an earthquake (whats the effect of the moving ? trimble or something like that ?)
oh fuck its hard to explain hehe...
well like when low basses get togheder to make the sub move
it makes a verry verry low sound... in a verry verry high volume ( i think ?)
but its verry low and deep |

It's called Sub bass- boost the very low frequencies like 25-50hz and play with it with a good fitting bassline- then you'll be able to feel the vibrations you're talking about
Also try Waves MaxBass, it's boost the sub frequencies
  Space is the place

i really don't like MaxBass...always the output seems too artificial with the bass muddying all the other sounds....then again, maybe it's something to got to do with my settings in MaxBass |

Actually MaxxBass boosts frequencies that make you hear better the sub bass, it doesn't really touch the sub bass.

the maxxbass is a very good tool.all you need is just work carefuly and understand what each knob or button do there.
the maxxbass can boost all freq's also the sub bass(ultralow freq zone).

it is included in waves package.let's say it is not so a plug and also not a mastering tool.but it is something which can boost freq's. |

hmmm....i guess i'll take back my words, maxbass really is a powerful bass booster. If your bass is bad, you're fucked! But if it's good, u can kick some serious ass!
UmmaGumma, you can export ur file to WaveLab or anywhere else where UltraBass works & use it there......or simple technique, export your bass alone to a wav, boost the bass, get it back into ur sampler or other instrument. Hope this helps

no, maxbass is a psychoacoustical toy..
actually the technology was invented by philips i think.
Maxbass has a filter where you can separate out the frequency's and it has a harmonic synthesizer.,
What it does is make new harmonics from a bass signal that fool your brain into thinking the original bass is there.,
What it does not is make your bass fatter.
It actually removes bass energy.,
this concept was invented for home stereo's. stereo's with this toy can 'crank' the bass up without annoying the neighbours too much.,
if you want full energy in the bass then YOU SHOULD NOT USE IT,.., unless you are very sure what you do.,
you should realise that if you use this you will be less able to judge the real bass energy unless you realy pump the volume.,
it's not ment as a mastering tool.,., it realy is primary a toy (with some exeptions of course).,.,
greets,\

You all wait a minute, his question was how to make an earth trembling sound...
I“ll Tell you:
Open your sound Editor (Sound Forge should work)
Select Synthesis option
Try a Sine Wave at 60 Hz at 55% amplitude
Then use piths bend option, set the envelope to 24 semitones , then make it go faster, and then slower, voilį! |

Hmmm I have to say I have kept away from using the MaxxxxBassss for exactly the reasons that ZilDoggo says. PsychoAcoustics are cool, but I would be very worried about exactly what conditions are necessary for the tricks to apply.
It even says in the manual that it is aimed at making speakers with weak bass extension sound like they go 'further down'. So what happens when you get to your local club and play your tune on a system with great bass extension, and play it very loud? I dont know. So I dont use it.
