Hey there.
I want to buy a control surface, something like this: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Command8

But is there something out there known to be well integrated with FL Studio? I basicly want to control as much as possible outside the (#!!#!GOD%DAMN!!#!) computer.           http://www.myspace.com/fragletrollet

FL controllers are listed in the midi options
there is "controler type" box u can have a look there and see what they support. avoid beringer , i reccomend korg (korg rox big time imo! but havent tried really lol)

Of the 2 choices you submitted I would probably go for the Tascam FW1884 DAW Controller. And I would ask Tascam if FL is fully supported. I do like the midi clock btw.          Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

well as far as i know flstudio doesnt send any feedback data to motorised controlers.. this means that no fader movement from the fl mixer will move the faders on the control surface.. also means u cannot save mixer states.

other than that STUPID limitaton any midi controler will work.

i use the novation remote zero!           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/

that's Digidesign for you. It is also worth mentioning that the death rate of the command 8 is fairly high. I am still looking for an old c 24, their lifespan is longer, if old they are not too much more $ and you can do more with it and it connects to your computer via ethernet...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Maybe check out the BCF2000.
I have always been very skeptical about to Behringer...and I still am, but I'm extremly happy with my BCR2000.

I guess with the kind of unit you looking at you like to emulate a real mixer and have dedicated controls for each channel?
In that case having to switch banks is quite a drawback since even if the faders are motorized you never get a constant and complete overview of the mix. But since the Behringers are very cheap you could get three to get 24 channels like the US2400 for less than €600.
The quality of the faders I cannot vouch for, but the knobs at least feels fairly sturdy although a bit chunky.

Since I tend to automate instead of doing gain riding of multiple tracks at the same time I would go for plenty of rotary encoders with value indicators instead.

This is the reply I got from the Looptalk forum!

"Not true. FL has support for all "Mackie Control Universal" protocol supporting controllers."

Does that include Digi and Tascam?           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Another update. So as far as it goes now no one yet knows if Tascam is supported. Apparently Digi is not. waiting to see what Gol says about that one (if he does...)           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
