How would i go about making a Decaying LFO?

Its an LFO that when signaled..it would be like the wave form of a sine pluck....it would be very wide and over time it the wave would get smaller and smaller untill its no longer oscililating.

It would look like the top wave in this picture.

...very wide then getting smaller as time goes. but i want it to be an LFO that is modulating something. So i want it to modulate a setting via automation.

Still not what i need.

I need..On Note Hit...for an LFO to start out wide and fast...and then decay to slow and thin. On a note hit...so each note, the LFO would start out fast and wide..and decay to slow and thin..based on the length of the note.

try to use the fruity envelope controller to automate the lfo of your synth. make a layer with your lead.(with monophonic it should work).
you can use the lfo of peak controller to.

That will be hard to achieve anywhere I guess. I'd do it like this:

1. draw your note
2. select the area where the note is active
3. adjust start and end speed of lfo in that area.

Problem is overlapping notes but I can't imagine making that happen outside of a vsti itself. it's always the signal you're processing. If there would be overlapping notes: clone channel...

peak control seems to be the answer

please route your LFO speed to the PEAK signal (insert fx on the same channel that is playing)

so that evry time the note hits it turns the lfo speed to be fast , then die out with the singal disapear

play with setting on the peak control should be it

intresting idea and way of thinking , cool

now can someone offer any other program for making this trick or should i add this to 'only FL can' list? (i bet logic does it too , they are the closest to FL in terms of manipulate the program , even more)          www.sattelbattle.com

i am searchin only for a way to get the decay time proportional to the note length. that is not so easy. the only workarround i see is to use the vel. (long notes - high vel./short notes - low vel.).

here is the zebra patch

to elad: the peak controller trick of you is great if the env. of the lfo = volume env. of the input signal

I was thinking about an alternative.

See...i started thinking...the knob i'm trying to turn..is the phaser freqncy...well guess that, the phaser freq IS an lfo.....so if i applied a ramp automation on the knob..it would start at fast and get slower...and with the same ramp automation..i could make the max range be wide and get tighter!!!

And i could probably even do it with the peak controller!!

If you go to the link, they have a .flp that shows how to do it with a fruity evenelop channel! New shit!

[i'm cronodevir btw]

here is an example of what i was trying to do..now that i know about the enevelope channel..its really easy: http://www.tindeck.com/audio/my/usxp/env_ctrl_example_123

Its not the 'best' example of its useage..but i think you get the point.
