ok many times i ear producers saying how they sample one-shots of bass sounds, note after note, to use them for building up basslines. Supposedly it helps you control waveform etc... to get clear, crisp, articulating basslines... So i suppose they load them in a softsampler to do so (doh!) so here id like to ear them telling us what is the best softsampler they use and why!

3...2...1..FIGHT!

hehe

yes, i know intakt and kontakt, im not a newbie, mate :o)
the thing is that i want to ear what other psytrance makers have to say about their sampler, to add in my own little personal data file so i can make a good choice!

because here its not like other forums, people here talk about gear in a psytrance-making point of view...

yep! its so straightfoward.
But i was thinking there might be some fonctionality in other more dedicated samplers that would be useful for me...

I always use my synths for basslines and don't use sampled waveforms. But when I use soft samplers, I use EXS24. Does what I want it to, and takes less CPU than Kontakt, which is an overkill for the way I work.           Me>You
