I didnot know weather this is discussed in this forum , can any 1 enumerate the real reasons for the death(collapse) of goagenre,but i real liked that genre

It depends on the artist. One can make in from the heart and one just with the brain. Goa evolved to something else. nothing can stay how it is for along time. I do not miss this style, but today some element can be found in the music and its nice. Goa is the roots of Trance, we shouldn't forget it,but its time passed.

Agreed, and the trackers these days are too "good" for making Goa. It's like White Stripes using old sttudio equipment to make oldish music. Same with trance. If you want to make Goa, you need to use older trackers ect. (i think) - Cubase creates full-on

Goa is not only old sounds you know, i think Goa is music that is made for travelling in the mind. It is made from the hearth and with intention to take you to places. Producers evolved a way to make money from this style of music and that's were we are today! Goa for me is in every piece of music that sends you somewere, that gives you a voyage. For me Goa is a culture a feeling a new way to life and it still lives in every hearth that loves it!
