frankie wilde is an imaginary character..the movie was made to look like a documentary ...and its not a true story ..
but never the less amazin movie about a dj who goes deaf and how he gets back into the scene....

Nothing is said that has not been said before. |

Not into progressive are you? As far as progressive goes the scene has never been better. Progressive means just that, progress. Those who don't progress come to a stand still, which is exactly what you are doing apparently. And if you so hate the stuff that's made and think it can be so much better, then go ahead. Produce yourself.
As for deaf people making music: I don't know how it all works but it has to do with vibrations indeed... that classical genius Beethoven did it, didn't he? (But ofcourse, he could write music with notes and didn't go deaf until later age) ... oh well, all the respect to those people. And people, protect your ears.

I woudn't be wondered if some people who become deaf in some time learned to feel the music through the skin and perceive it like we do through the ears.
|
| That's quite possible through vibrations. Every sense of a deaf person is more fine tuned than any of us can imagine.

if ur deaf from birth then u aren't missing anything... Then u can't even imagine what hearing a sound would be like... If u became deaf then u have a very serious problem... But i know of at least one deaf person who still 'listens' to music... he can do that by putting his hand on the speaker, or on the cabinet (if he wants to 'listen' when u play guitar), and apparently the vibrations are enough for him to get an imprssion of the music... he also likes electro parties because the music is played so loud that he can feel it... it's the strangest thing, but i assure u it is true... |
