What do you think about this band? I just achieved the album "wake", and i like it very much, expecialy cd nș2!!
Their music took my mind away...can dead really dance?

well, it's chill_out but with influences from several etnic sonorities, from asia to africa, from south-america to india!! Dead Can Dance are a man and a woman (i don't recall their names), and they both sing... Their music reflects several fellings, and they have music for good/bad moods , hapiness/sadness , light/darkness , etc... I call it spiritual music!
itamar, if you have the chance, listen to it, you won't regret!!

i love all their albums, but i prefer their last one called "spiritchaser" (and unfortunately it will forever be their last)
all their albums sound very different, but they started with gothic influenced music. |

IMO, I think they reached their top with the album "Into the Labyrinth", 1993. It features the track on the movie "Baraka". Both, album and movie, are awesome.

I got all their albums and even the DVD , my most beloved band (in my top 5).
you must check also their solo albums after they split.
Lisa wrote a song that took me to paradise named - Humen game.
and you got a song on a wake in one of the cds that also make tears in my eyes. I cant remmember the name but it's the last song on one of them.
and the jibrish go like that : "Aliya the vichi...."
