I bought DCAM Synth Squad
http://www.fxpansion.com/index.php?page=62&tab=181
from fxpansion last week and I've finally gotten some time to really dig in to at least Strobe so far.
My first thoughts have been that this synth pack sounds abso-f*****g-lutely amazing!
When using the filter at high resonance levels the first thing that popped into my mind was memories of playing with the filter on my Analog Moog Little Phatty. The whole sound of the synths can have such an alive sound like analog but with the stability of digital.
The transmod system is out of this world. Similar to the mod system on a Nord Lead but so much more. You are able to essentially mod entire synth parts for morphing or any modulation you can think of.
I havn't gotten into the other synths very much but Cypher has a very different approach to the whole classic subtractive synth type layout. The filters for one are in an interesting configuration which allows them to be moved very much like the Virus where one filter can follow another with an offset leading to formant sounding stuff and interesting timbres.
Havn't gotten into Amber at all yet and I've only just barely played with fusor but all the FX sound very very good and it has modulation galore!
I have not even scratched to the surface of the positive things I like about these synths and I'm not going to try...I don't have the time
Anyway I'm not trying to do a review here I'm just sharing my enthusiasm for this pack, definitely my best purchase this year!

Has anybody else purchased this pack yet? ~Airyck~
