dc offset is ultra low content, it can happen for many reasons that range from bias on hardware and from digital synthesis actions inside your pc. ring modulators on low freqs, audio rate lfos stuff like that. and shitty synths too
in general, its not a problem, just stick a highpass filter on 20-30hz and kill it, it will reset your wave on the zero axis as well as enforce your actual fundamental.

Thank you very much for your time...
But I get it even with a highpass at 60hz, for example. |

Nope... A 48db HP.
A friend of mine told me something about electrical current, that seemed pure sci-fi to me.
Could it be a power problem on my pc/audio card? |

lol..ok.. wave thats the thing about q10's hp and lp there fixed ... fixed slopes so that u can use more than one, i think ul find in most cases more than one is needed, look at spectrum yourself and u should agree using more than one is infact a good idea...
depending on the source of course
lol ive used more than two.... why? because i needed to on a certain sound, the beauty is u can boost and make it bigger without worrying about subs taking all headroom.. enables u to whack up the volume..
i was taught to use as many necessary... as shit builds up... shit u cant even hear.. eg DC,shit will all build up in a mix... one hp just isnt enough for end result..
so again, using more is a greeat idea lol
wen they say dont boost.. aslong as uv cut i say boost!
pulteks way
Take , to put back.. karma = equilibrium = equal

You also get DC in a signal when it's clipping, are you running any plugins on that channel at too high a level?
'DC' actually means 'Direct Current', (as opposed to the Alternating Current/AC of a musical waveform) and you can think of it as a signal at 0Hz. Where are you metering the signal to see the DC in it? If it's on an analyser inside your DAW then it's unlikely to be the audio card.
There's also nothing wrong with putting two HP filters in series, if that's what you need to do to get the cut you want. Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering
