Great strategy game! I really enjoy the use of tactics and on-the-battlefield style of play. The engine is obviously based on the Company of Heroes engine with all the right improvements to keep the action fast and furious without you having to constantly pan back to your base ever few seconds. Not to mention flashy sci-fi action! Even though there's only four factions to start, the subcommanders really add different playstyle opportunities. (I'm a fan of the Apothecary, myself. Healing FTW)
I'll be looking forward to the expansions. I can't wait to see the Tau, in their anime-style battlesuits in all the epic glory they deserve, not to mention the ever-annoying stealthsuit nuisance 
Epic futuristic armageddon in all its fine glory! The Holst-inspired classical music backdrops really lend a suspenseful atmosphere to the destruction. |
