I think progressive music sounds best in ableton and fullon in cubase

Music with patterns and beats usually sound best in logic , but only during the summer..in the winter pro tools sounds best..pretty warm

btw be aware of Ohmforce Ohmstudio..im currently beta testing it, its great for producing in collaboration..

ah yea..and every music sounds best in it

Anything one can do on one DAW, can be done in another is some way. The things that are important are midi sequencing and audio recording. These aspects are good enough to make nay kind of dance music.

As far as sound sources and processing goes, there are 3rd party plug ins and hardware.

For me Logic is perfect, for others Cubase, Ableton, FL studio...etc.

This discussion is only worth its weight in pointless debating to what suits, each person's workflow.

There is no objective outcome on which is the best, only subjective.

Peace out.

yoko.. i choosed flstudio. i was a cubase user since 1998 on atari.

i still use cubase when i work with audio recording and bands.

flstudio workflow is the best for me.

any track i mix in other daw (cubase, studio one, logic) sounds the same as flstudio... cos im the same user.

today its all a matter of workflow

every DAW this days can make a HD rendering with very acurate alogorythm

in fact most of the features each DAW have are universal, most of them can actualy be used in others

the quality on audio is a result of the way the plugins are modelated, the way the sound is mixed and offcourse the mixing structure as well

there is no magical cubase mixer that makes the sound PRO, there is no PRO TOOLS super quality that make every plugin sound amazing, or logic super audio quality, that type of "MYTH" happens only because this are the older softwares in the market, and as they are older, it means they got inicialy an advantage, so its plenty normal that professionals chose thouse Softwares because they were the only one´s avaliable in that market, wich means they still today are taking advantage of being pioneers and represent market standart choices, not because of quality, but actualy because they were just the first avaliable sequencing software´s

Here´s MUSICRADAR top 15 DAW´s

http://www.musicradar.com/tuition/tech/the-15-best-daw-software-apps-in-the-world-today-238905#!15

there is no B Class, there is no A class... Daw wars are silly, they are only claim by people who have nothing else to claim to be better than others than just the daw they use it self

i own 1 license for Flstudio and other License for REAPER, i use them for diferent purposes, FL for midi sequencing, wich is one of the very best around, and reaper for audio sequencing and post-production stuff... i can use them without any limitations as i have a high end machine with 16gb of ram and a super i7 cpu, i can use heavy stuff without notice lack of quality in the final product

so... its not a matter of the software, if you want to deliver a strong quality final product, first you need a good audio device sound card, then a good computer and knoledge, nothing else, use whatever daw you want... and cut the crap
