hi there,
i am trying to sell my blue sky media desk monitors (they have a big dip in the mid you really cannot mix properly on them, no matter how nice the service of this company is.) now someone is offering to swap them with the dave smith evolver. i like its size, really small, but i am afraid its very difficult to program. anyone has experience with this small blue box? and..is it usefull for psy-basslines?

hey i got mine today, so haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet. programming is ok so far, but ask me again in a few months there is a vst editor for it here http://www.psicraft.com/ haven't used it though, may or may not get it.
as for basslines ... i dunno? any synth is really, i tend to use vsts for basslines cause you dont have to go through the whole bounce, trim, load into a sampler rigamarole every time you want to start a track. just me though. flicking through the presets on the evolver theres been some nice bass sounds (under all the whizoo), so i think its definately capable of them.
