[DATCD006] Doof - Let's Turn On - Remixed & Remastered - 2CD [Goa Trance]
A few years ago, in 2011, it was the very first time Nick Doof allowed anyone to release an old tune of his, and after his kind contribution to the pro-charity compilation "Mind Rewind" (now repressed, due to huge demand for whoever missed it the first time) my friend Mark Ainley thought it was possibly the right time to ask Nick if he had other unreleased tracks, including a track he remembered from the heydays, Destination Bom (Live Mix). Shortly after Nick asnwered and sent the most incredible track ever.
I had already a few unreleased tunes from Doof and I had the idea of asking if maybe there were more alternate-live mixes to "Let's Turn On" album tracks, that till today is one of the most easily recognizable classic Goa Trance album of all times. Nick searched and incredibly enough he found alternate mixes, desk and live mixes for every track of the album!
It was crystal clear to me that the only logical thing to do would be to reissue the album, including all the alternate mixes... thus DAT Records is pleased to announce:

The preparation of this album started in November 2013 and for many different reasons, including the desire to make this release legendary with 16 page booklet and a poster, we took our time to make it the best possible re-issue ever!
Since today is a special day, to share love and affection, I thought it would be the best occasion to finally unleash the samples of this marvellous album.
This is just a tease, but I hope it will keep you dreaming a little bit more until the release is actually out... Enjoy!!

Update on the Doof CD:
In our preparations for the upcoming Doof release, some careful post-production investigation revealed a few errors relating to the source material on the pressed CDs. While the CDs, booklets, and poster have all been pressed and shipped for distribution, in order to ensure the highest possible standard, we will need to have the CDs repressed. This will unfortunately result in a delay of a few more weeks - but the final result will then be exceptional release you are all hoping for and expecting.
As Nick himself said, 'It's been almost twenty years... what's a few more weeks?'
