Well ,as usual it was a human mistake.
I ve lost at least 10 almost ready for release tracks by overwriting the disk with a ghost.
I tryied some software for Getting my Data Back, but only Get Data Back software, seemed to make the job.
It recovered all the .wav files it found, with the correct filenames and size Untill i listened to them. All the samples converted into pure Noiz(noiz artists plz use that tip ;)
Somebody told me to open it as a .raw file with my editor and play with settings.
It didnt work either.
Any suggestions?

i don't wanna disapoint you, but i think all is lost
anyway... you shouldn't be using the pc at the moment if you wanna recover anything, because you can be overwritting everything (if it wasn't done already)
  roll a joint or STFU :) |

if u used a ghost, u copied a hard disk over your hard disk, so all the data that would be left after a normal deletion will now be destroyed by the ghost... Even professional data-recovery people prolly can't do anything for u now... If it was do to a deletion, the data would still be there, only the references in the index of your HD are deleted when u delete... But after a format or a ghosting u lose everything on the HD, cuz he resets the bits |

there are ways to recover data from a magnetic medium, even if it was overwritten with other data several times afterwards. it's costly, time consuming and needs professionals. i suggest you to read the paper from gutmann on "secure deletion of data from magnetic and solid state memory". this should give you an idea how complicated it is and what equipment is needed.
