An excellent German movie, about life in 80s East Germany. A beautiful movie that really touches a lot of subtle things in human life. It's a sad movie with a very optimistic feel to it, a very philantropic movie, with a lot of love for humans, shitty as we are. And one that leaves me with some hope for us. It's also a totally grabbing movie with non-stop suspense that held me totally absorbed in it. All the actors play amazingly well. it's amazing how every single person I know that saw this movie totally love it.
Highly recommended.

Excellent movie, def one of the best ones I've see this year if not the best.
Best scene in the movie: when the Shtazi guy enters the elevator and speaks with the little kid. Sums the movie pretty well. By the way the actor passed away shortly after the movie was filmed...

Good movie but i found it little bit emotionless and slow paced for my taste and i am a very patient viewer i got to admit.
Ofcourse i spoke with some people and they said that what the director wanted to show us is actually the lack of emotions in Stazi Germani at that time.
Anyway 7,5/10 for me and thats for the prime minister joke somewhere in the middle of the movie hehe.
