I haven't really heard alot of the genre but I do like what I've heard so far in it....
Trimada - Silent Hill
Dark Soho - Kapa Kuchak
Gothica - Beats & Breaks
The Star Shrink Shooters - LIS
I dunno, these are the kinds of tracks I associate "Dark Psy" with...
Granted Trimada is borderline Techno...
I get into a nice trance with Trimada and Dark Soho tracks.. and it gives me nice energy and a nice amount of adrenaline!

Is part of the problem, so to speak, how incredibly international psytrance and its subgenres are? What I mean is that there are so many subvariations, many of them local, but also I think there might be cultural/linguistic differences that make it hard to understand exactly where someone else is coming from. Does that make sense? Ultimately, I guess the question is what does one consider 'dark' psytrance? I suspect there are many different answers to that, some of them incompatible with each other.

sooooo... its like... in a country, 5% of the ppl like trance.... 10% of those 5% like dark... and 1% of them produces it.

maybe i was a bit harsh, haha but sometimes its just fucked up noise, its like giving the dance floor a good workout and brainfuck, haha, marching in high tempo, But like i said i do think it has a time and a place, but a whole party with these kinds of sounds would make me leave. Still to get the balance back, there are some good darkpsy, thats innovate and playful and more funky. but its not the ordinary stuff
That's Crap music imho , listen to horror place thats good "dark" stuff for me, not random sounds like digital darkness

well N3uRO i just wanted to share something new here since all i hear about darkpsy is kindzaza and those commercial artist.. that music doesnt have the thing that makes you want to rock the dancefloor 3 days straight... i admit that digital darkness sound crapy when listened by experienced ears and he uses most of the sound on other tracks so is really unprofessional ( not that im a pro myself..) but the basses he uses equals to one redbull and 4 beers.. if you like more of a terror-darkpsy-satanic ritual-horror-trance i could share some artists too
