Maybe i'm wrong, but the idea that i have about trance that are made in scandinavia is almost progressive.. or not?

I wouldn't claim that too much music being made here at current is progressive (and it has never been that way either in my humble opinion). For sure there are quite a few successful producers from Scandinavia in that style, but there's a large variety of music being written here I'd say. We got everything from good ol' goa-trance to progressive trance (both more psychedelic and less psychedelic) to the regular full-on formula to harder psytrance adapted for night - and on top of the mountain we got a bunch of artists who's style is for sure psytrance, but is writing a large variety of styles and therefor are a bit tougher to categorize in someway. Not to forget our ambient and chillout artists (but I know the subject was trance but they are still worthy to be mentioned)  .
