the house-ish thing is not usually my cup of tea, but i still find this track interesting, nice work with blending in the styles
as for the mix and stuff i hear nothing that sounds bad or off, but im not an expert on mixing anyways so ^^

i would definetly crank the bass waaaay up ... i can almost not hear it !
also i think mixing dark and house is quite difficult as the elements in dark should give you a dark and cold feeling - as where the elements in house should give you a cosy and warm feeling !
but interesting fx and elements indeed !

Hey MuckyPuh, thanks for the feedback
About the mix of genres that was the original purpouse of the track, mixing dark with light.
About the mix, do you have your room with good accoustics? Do you use good headphones? Because this track has A LOT of bass and I can hear it clearly maybe it's a problem with your room.

Around 3:20 is where this track really found it's footing imo. nice perc and melodies with the deep atmos sounds in the back ground. I liked from here onwards so much more than the first 2 mins were a bit disconnected. I guess this was part of the mixed genres and I agree that they are always going to be tough to blend - kinda felt like a midimiliz style track was playing then got swapped out for something more antix like then back. A cool fusion and I could hear the bass no worries in my headphones. |
