what is it all about

people keep telling me this track is for the night
that track is for the morning

then how come sesto plays his tracks at night
howcome digital talk plays his tracks in the day
how come the katlas and azax tracks work in the day
how come some djs play gms at night

so what is music all about
its not generic
its not time related

isnt it taste related then

music is about style and there are many styles in trance

if your style is fluffy thats what it is
if your style is full on thats what it is
if your style is psychedelic thats what it is
if your style is wacked thats what it is

its about style amigos

there is no morning noon and night
not in goa
not anywhere
play it well
mix well
make a story
rock it up

yeah I enjoy it all no doubt about it!

But if it is at the proper time and place, I will enjoy it to the max!

For example, a very touchy melodic happy tune for me it will work better at morning, when the day is coming and the sun is appearing behind the trees and the mountains, and we are more in touch with each other

A dark full on track would for me work better at night, since its the time of the day when we are more in contact with the misterious things and the dark entities...and also more turned to ourselves...

Haven't u ever noticed how the expression changes in the face of everyone in the dancefloor when the sun finally starts shinning in the morning?

I've heard Xenomorph in a festival in portugal this summer it was like 12pm i think, it was in idanha, the boom 2002 place, the scenario was beautifull, birds were flying everywere, lots of sun, the water the trees, what a happy scenario...
The sound wasn't fitting with the scenario...with samples like "welcome to hell" when everything around us was anything but hell...it wasn't making any sense (for me it was ok because I'm not a xenomorph fan myself, too dark and negative 4 my taste)

Music for me is time related, I think that if the structure of a sequence of songs is well made (by a dj) he will be able to achive an atmosphere, otherwise he won't...its all about the right timing...

Even u Evil Doctor, u talked about making a story with the mix, isn't that time related??

It does't mean that u can't break the rules (if we can even call it rules...) sometimes, and change the order of stuff, play melodic at night, dark at day, whatever, but as long has it is made on the right time on the right place.

Hummm...so yes...sorry to disagree with u all, but for me, yes, music is time related.

Everything is time related...Time never stops...Time is what makes everything!

Its all about enjoying the music. But I believe there are many different ways to enjoy it. Music is ofcourse time and amplitude related for me. But then it depends on person if he wants to really trip on the tune or just listen and have fun.

I doubt anybody would prefer gms , cpu or any killer dance type music during the night time unless one is on booze

Psychedelic music alters your thought cycle which largely depends on your self-trip , volume, time and surrounding thats why its called psychedelic.

Ofcourse one is free to enjoy the music in his/her own way. But why not discover the ultimate pleasure of track by putting it in its right slot of time ?

Although I disagree with you , theres one exceptional artist whom i can listen to anytime - Infected Mushroom.
