I`m back into one of those phases of admiration of the sheer brilliance of Dark soho ..
those guys are gods!! well, not quite, but theyre pretty damn close ...
I dont think anyone has ever rocked as much as they do .. case in point, depth of emotion
Will such a song ever be made again?? I certainly hope so ..
No one even comes as close to insanity as this music .. and if it does, please let me know abt it .. :) |

Well , I certainly do not hope so .
If u hear 1000 trax which sound the same u won't like nither the origin nor the rest .
But , maybe u meant that u hope there'll be another track which will give you
the same vibes and enthusiasm as u got from this track .
Aside from that , I reckon Dark Soho's trax are unique , with the tendency of Metal .
Very interesting , IMHO , yet not my fave .
But I like their trax , esp. Terra Sencta .

Never really connected with Dark Soho, even though I respect the act. As for depth of emotion, well, it's really a matter of taste. People told me Son Kite have more emotion than Doof, and I guess they believe that.
And Lyri, that's a good point about getting bored from the music. :) |

I will never forget dark soho since they gave me my most amazing night experience ever 2 months ago... it was outstanding.
as for their music... it's nice to listen 2 every now and then... but it's a bit too evil and dark, that's why that night was amazing... |

OK- a new Dark Soho album is almost done. I heard some of it last week. Expect a totally electronic fast metal album. Dark Soho doing their thing the way they do it.
From what I've heard there's one track that can be another Depth maybe. Have to listen more though before I can say.
There's one with real crazy rhythm games as well. |

Yea ... I went over to their site earlier today, and checked out some of their samples ... seems promising .. another depth .. man I can`t wait for tht!!
yea lyri, what I did mean was that I hope a track with the same enthusiasm and energy be out soon. :)
It is evil and dark, and tht`s precisely why I like it. I cannot listen to it all the time either, which is why I come back to it every month or so. I`ve never heard anything nearly as sinister. For some reason, this sounds a lot better than metal in the ranks of Slipknot, and all these new age modern rock-metal acts, which IMO suck big time. Nine Inch Nails might have been good at a time, with stuff like Pretty Hate Machine, but all the rock greats are dead, at least for now ..
Actually, extending this discussion further .. what do ppl have to say abt tht? Do ppl agree tht the golden age of rock, metal etc., is dead? Perhaps for music as a whole? My opinion is tht most of the best innovators in the music world are increasingly flowing from Electronica as a genre, and even here, things seem to be stagnating a bit .. this is the reason why I switched from rock to electronic in the first place, as things seemed to be getting boring in that field. wat do u guys think?
