dark soho and talamasca party 13/10

well last weekend i went to see my friend boxer for this party and here is review
the party started midnight and i got there after
1am, then what comes to my eyes first was the big line of ppl standing and waiting for the entry.
everyone was so pissed off being made await for one hur, i was too.
then i came in and boxer was playing dj set for one hur for warm up then dark soho began live.
i was gald to see 3 of there together and giving real live act, they started with uri saracomm, then new track kapuck kuchack, madness(my fav) and depth of emotion, first 30 min they played from previous album then rest of time they played mostly for new album. new tracks sounds much alike their last album but a bit of techno side music with a lot of hypnotic melodies which a lot of jap liked i guess. good live act, rizo played really crazy sound but the soundsystem were such a crap as i heard only phat bass sounds and no high hut sounds from there.....u did good rizo hehe
then afte their live act cedric started playing
with typical 3d style with nomad, gms, elixir then his psycho rmx. drop of madness was pretty good but i wonder why he played this strong track for 3rd track in his set hehe but that was killa old track of his for sure.
then i went to back stage to talk with dark soho so i dont know much about rest of cedircs set but ppl were shouting and dancing crazy so it must be good one.
as party itself, honestly i wouldnt go there paying $35 to get in, and no decoration and only the speaker stands in the front and sounds so bad,
too many ppl no place to dance either....
they made good money and dak soho had good time so i say it was good party though..
to boxer, it was nice to have u guys but it was pity that u have to leave so soon for london but
u will come back as we talkd so till then :)

YEH THE PARTY WAS A KILLER. I GOT IN AS A GUEST SO I DIDNT HAVE TO WAIT IN THAT LONG LINE THAT I HEARD EVERYONE WAS TALKIN ABOUT. THE REHEARSALS FOR THE LIVES AND THE ART DECO TOOK SOME TIME TO SET UP. THAT WAS THE REASON FOR THE DELAY. WELL DARK SOHO KICKED SOME ASS FOR SURE. KILLER KILLER LIVE. PROBALY ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF THIS YEAR. YOU COULD SEE THEY LOVED PLAYING IN JAPAN. WELL YOHE I WISH I COULD OF SEEN YOU THERE, MAYBE AT ANOTHER PARTY. NEXT WEEK WIZZY NOISE, OR AUTHENTIK |

soundsystem was SHIT do doubt, talmasca' show was really boring. i had difficulties not falling asleep...Žbut the crowd loved it, i really wonder if anything works these days. well, i am glad for those that liked it, for me it was a party without much concept and one of the worst i've been to lately. -lx |
