i love the darkpsy sound coming out of south africa. when i started spining psy in 2003 i listened to alot of gms, astrix, infected, astral projection, gataka, 1200 mics, alien project, lots of tip world. the list goes on. I had no idea was prog, morning, or dark psy even was. but i have to say ill allways remember the first i heard artifakt's nosferatu... holy crap i went on a rampage and bought 20 cds of similar stuff. It defantely opened up new doors for me in the world of psy. DARK PSY RULES! |

The amount of posts ive seen about night music and the different perspectives about it.
I think night music breaks realms of music, it is not the same formula based music, like how the overlayed sounds twist and bend, i personally find it really cool emotion based music as it plays with your emotions in all different directions(crazy, creepy, intense, angry, scary, unconventional)
I like it even more when im on psychedelics, blitzed or drunk. Especially when your in a trip i believe full on keeps you somewhat on the ground since your stomping hard, but its easier to get lost into your head(in that altered state of reality) to night music as the bassline is very heavy and its more the sounds and samples my mind wanders into.
Its probably the best to have each at its recommended time dark in the night where it gets twisted and intense and full on in daylight since you can see each other stomp in nature.
