hehe I'd planned to put in an order end of this month, but just found out my credit card has been frauded (some one spent around $5,000 on the internet using my paypal account)... so am waiting for the bank to sort that out before I buy anything else... then I've got about 30 cd's I wanna buy including the two above...

Not going to comment about the Sensient stuff, except that you'd have to downgrade at least one order of magnitude the quality for it to match most dark psy stuff (and I like dark psy).

ok then sorry to Pavel, and I mean it this time mate 
and my point about Sensient wasn;t his music as a whole but the bassline... my point being Dark Psy isn;t the only style that has a monotonous bassline, many do...
abnd about the credit car, it's no worries mate... Paypal has done it to me before... my bank inviestigates it and they give me the credit back through their insurance... and Paypal, as do Ebay, deny all knowledge that such things happen

The thing with the so called "Darkpsy" is.. that it's not that innovative and groundbreaking any longer.
In Sweden.. i would guess that 70-75% of the liveacts/dj:s that play on Swedish partys, are so called "Darkpsy" acts.
It's starting to become mainstream! and it's
just not psychedelic enough for me.
I want to be taken on a musical mindtrip on the
dancefloor.. a journey to dance.. in to trance!
At 160 bpm??.. It's not going to happen!
And it strikes me more and more.., how good musicians and producers many of the traditional psyacts were.. like: Hallucinogen, Eat-Static,
CHI-A.D., Juno Reactor.. etc
It has become so easy and cheap to make
music today, that all you need is a computer
with a good soundcard.. and you can start producing. The only problem is that.. when everyone starts using the same software with
similar loops, samples..etc.. to make the new
KILLATRACK!! It all starts to sound very
familiar.. a bit to familiar.

That actually doesnt work like that or else music would be over in terms of quality or innovation....instruments (and computer portraits as one) are tools that give you access to the musical escales (sounds) and the possible combinations between are infinite....though maybe not all perceivable!!!! Chopin used the piano 200 years before Brad Mehldau and his (Brad´s) music is still innovative and, to my liking, amazing - and you can hear the first in the second without loosing the innovation or the quality recognized worldwide.
What i think everyone is bitchin around is that psy-trance is not the new kind in the block anymore, so the feeling of new is gone and with it a lot people too (searching for the new thing). The music styles that prevail are the ones that after the start rush continue....re-inventing itself.
Moreover its much more interesting to see psy-trance having so many styles than to constantly try to define whats the "real-thing". In the end, despite the style or the popularity, quality will prevail going beyond the concept of innovation...
My only request is
Keep it deep, intense and psycadelic...this is what made the difference from the rest!!!

Very funny. Somebody forgot that at first Psychedelic trance is like Shaman drum, at first it should work with mind. Very nice that it also like music, but at first its shamans instrument. Somebody searching for new sounds, somebody searching for clear vibrations. We are all different, so IMHO we should respect choice of other, even if we cant understand it.

As in everything when there is too much it won't be psychedelic anymore...We are different people and so we should create a different music but when other people copy instead of creating then it becomes the same shit all the time so then it's not psychedelic anymore at all...To journey man : You say that you did not hear anything that make you fly between 2000 and 2004 and now you say you fly with dark psy? Really man what did you hear in this period because for me it's the contrary i much prefer the music that came out at that time than today 100% voyage into outer space...but of course this is my opinion man.

well,
first of all:
BPM isn't the problem, there are many high bpm tracks (150 - 160) that kick ass like 140 - 150 bpm tracks. but its not the bpm, it's the whole package inside (sound, music, etc…).
Copycats also are not the problem, coz once they copy a killer track, then there will be 2 killer tracks  ) (not everyone can be a professional copycat).
So regarding Dark trance/night trance/heavy trance/non melodic scary trance/ or whatever we call it, its more important that others understand what kind of trance we mean:
As a listener to trance music more than 10 years, I can say, that dark trance is the only pure trippy music for trippy kuku minds ).
And the more you did mega heavy acid in parties and raise your psychedelic experiences the more your mind seeks for unusual tunes and new once, coz only then its easy to it jumping to next levels, other way, you will be bored and dozing off…then posting like this post in isratrance )
So how the above is connected exactly to lake of killer tracks today?
Few years ago, when there was only hardware, (no software for music creation was existed), only professional artists allowed them selves to purchase that mega-expensive hardware for music production, coz they were aware of what they did. that heavy financial investment done for a one reason: creating a pure music, not amateur sounds that called "music" like what we hear today.
So why we hear today a lot of amateur music???
The answer is the opposite of the above text.
Every kid has "amateur loops" software for creating music (also known as fruity loops).
Those kids mostly has no music background, neither sound knowledge, and they were impressed by some dark artist tunes in party while they are on heavy acid, then later they think, if he can create freaky tunes then we also can.
no one can fight that attraction & ambition of creation!

I mean, its ok if you try making dark trance music, but first, please invest some more time on the creation, doesn't matter how much it takes, coz other way, it will be crap trance, not dark trance, only non meaning sounds.
there are also those amateur labels that will release that amateur music and then pass it to us, coz they believe its a good business to release music they buy for cheap price and many times for free. and later they don't understand why they are broken and turning off the label forever. then some of them thinks its good to re-create a new label, with new name, but with same non meaning tunes that called crap.
and to the high quantity of this crap, many people in the scene are confused and think that all dark trance is crap, but actually it's not. the well done of them are unforgettable journy.
But hey,
don't give up 
there are always very few super dark tracks trance tracks (not artist, coz sometimes a professional artist drink something bad and create bad tracks), so you should search a lot on the numerous releases.
