and about innovation in dark psy......plz somebody give me an examples of tracks that innovative and what is exactly innovative in this music: kickbass , drumspercussions , leads , pads , structure , arrangement....etc!

only one that comes to my mind right now is Psykovsky - ones i heard track on his myspace page.....something really twisted and innovative - and the most important - melodic! really weird and unusual track!

Talking about innovative for starters:

http://www.myspace.com/derangomusic
http://www.myspace.com/thefractalcowboys

ps - Try all Sanaton Records releases, as innovative as they get...explicitly psychedelic

And if you got past those, a few more if your interested :

Actually a lot of the stuff Tim Larner (Sensient) does has a very similar monotonous bass line, if you pitch his tracks up, they actually sound very much like Dark Psy...

I like dark psy for one reacon, it has a energy that has been lacking since the end of old school Goa in 2000... it makes people jump up and down, dance like mad, lose their mind, smile, peake, tweak and jiggle liek the sphinx...

if I want hot chicks, and guys looking like they stepped out of an Armani catalogue grooving to housey progressive, I'd go to my local club, and the same againf for the eurotrance sounds of full on...

I go to the bush parties for off my nut mad energetic freak out music... and right now Dark Psy is about the only style providing this feeling...

even Suntrip, who I love and have all their originals in duplicate, fail to really capture the energy from the old days...

amnd I"m not saying Dark Psy is the new Goa, but it has the energy I seek, and that is why I love to listen to it, and mix it up

So let me ask a question...

You ask 3 ..

Quote:

Did you get into Psytrance because it's fun to party outside?

In my case i first celebrating at home when im working on and then outside .

Quote:

Because it is good music for taking drugs?

I dont use drugs .

Quote:

Because it take you psiritual further and further than any church, synagogue or temple will?

Love this question .. In many of my tracks there is an church sounds (Realy love , Also like operas) Dont think its taking me out of nothing , Think when you are build a track the all picture are coming befront of you , Your life geting in , You are there without any separation or analysis of this or that , Neto the way you want to bring it . Dont think you should look it that way , Think big .. Comprehensive , Extensive thought . Not because of nothing , Just because it is , And then go with ..

I hope he doesn't read this. If you speed up my vacuum cleaner and put a kick + bassline with it than perhaps it will sound like Dark Psy           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

I love night music, that I also call dark music (Prog, fullon or dark itself). I think that what is happening to dark psytrance is the same thing that happened to fullon: too many producers, too many bad releases, but if you search well, you're going to find very good music.

well.....seems like nobody answered to my previous post!

zmandan: i think you missed my point
all links that you posted here.....i checked.....and tell you the truth....nothing really innovative.
i know derango's music for a few years now....and there is almost nothing new since 2004\5
and as much as i know how to respect their music....they did almost nothing innovative imho
forrest dark was before darango.....just check KA SOL....for example.
still i want examples....what is exactly innovative in this music that you ppl talking about and insulting other genres for the same reasons. examples plz!
kickbass , drumspercussions , leads , pads , structure , arrangement....etc!

well me personally I don't insult other genre neither other tastes, so if you feel check Sanaton records, for example: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=173696896
or here you have several links: http://books.dreambook.com/semera/guestbook.html

So check the Osom music, check The Kabrathor records, come to a party with some of this artists and
let you fly through sounds. or try for example TrippyHippies. There is man a lot of innovative it this subgenre, in my humble opinion I can't find it in other psy subgenres nowdays.

you all sick!

chaotic music is great thing
and chaotic trip of fear is great revelation and way to face parts inside you that u might repress in the normal proggy late night hangout.. when the hormons are the only thing spilled more then beer.. which is another side of very same life and will be just as stupid to not recognice this..

or for much less intrested peaple , its simply musical taste , get over it

Try : gappeq - speaker seeker , furious - uncanny beats and mind distortion system - he claims to be not human, to begin with.
