There are none that are geared directly for dark psy... You just have to experiment with your sound creation. You can use the same synths as the progressive heads, or the melodic heads, or the house heads for that matter. It's just all about investing the time into your sound design...
I am big fan of using the Albino, Vanguard, Pro 53, synth 1, Discovery, Atmosphere, Trilogy... But all of those could be used for making hip hop if you wanted to... It really depends on how your mind works....

Yes i know that you can make almost the same work with the same synth. But some vst makes ur work easier. respect

I ve made GMS like leads and other interesting stuff with the Arturia ARP 2600.
Its a new release,trully comparable with my access c.
Man its the one u are lookin for,
for serius tweakers ;-) |

not sure what application you use but i see that Skulptur is one of the ultimate, Absynth also could do a good job. But over all is all back to you. For me the best ever is recording the sound by my self, bring a handy small MD stereo recorder that came with phantom like power everywhere you go. I have one extra to give away for cheap but not the T stereo mic (off topic).
TIPS: if you have Traktor, try to play any song or sound and drag the track opposite of it's play direction when it's play (very very slowly, kind of scratching but not) see/hear what happen and record it. If you want that darkness to be tasty, aply it to any decent filter such Kaoss.

Hey Narcosis ..
If U Are Working With An Midi Keybord - Out Of Producing Program (Synth - Piano) So You Can Make Dark From 50% Of Vst's , Allways The Better Way To Tuch The Real Sound That Coming (I Heat The Mouse Option) . I Like The FM7 Vst For Dark But Dark Can Be EvryThing And Its Not Only The Sound That Make It More Or Less Is How And Wher U Put It On/In . Some Times There Is a High Vocals That Runing Well On Heavy/Massive Beat And Make Things Look Darker .
