extrawelt = midi miliz = spirallianz, all the same two guys
The delta is those two guys plus a third guy
The whole cocoon label is some of the best techno out there. I would say Cocoon is probably #2 after Minus for best minimal label.
Minus has gotten less trippy and more clubby but they're still good. |

Start with the classics: Soopertrack, Titelheld, Fernweh, Doch Doch, Last Past, 8000, Schmedding, and Weich8. Then check out the first album, followed by some of their more recent singles--of which there are many gems, but be sure to scope out Too Confuzzled, Simpleton, Im Garten Von Eben, and Dominik Eulberg's incredible remix of Was Übrig Bleibt at the very least. Finish with the latest album... and you will, hopefully, come to appreciate their brilliance. The intriguing thing is that Extrawelt is, in my opinion at least, far more psychedelic ("mind-manifesting") than most psytrance these days. They never lost their touch... they simply went forward into the future, as all great artists do.

extrawelt are great producers for sure, but this has not much with dark psytrance to do imo. Althoug for me it is no doubt that dark trance can be at much much lower bpms and lots of ultraspeed styles are not dark.
I doubt the guys of X-dream & Co will make some psytrance again, would be definetly really interesting for sure.
Nevertheless as producers they are top notch. The composition of Extrawelt for instance, is too me rather boring but the production is top notch and comfortable in any ways for the ears.

i find their is a strong melancolic feel in their music add to this some darkness ,to me this combo work great for making music very mind manifestating/psychedelic like you say Basilisk .
lot of the music i find very psychedelic use these 2 ingredients, melancolie and darkness/fear |
