So I was close to the truth about the analog and digital synth except that I didnt know that the analog produces waves by the means of an electric circuit, makes sense, but anyway one more thing I learned
Now you gave me the real juice
The How to Make Noise by Simon Cann looks realy like THE STUFF!!! Looking foward to devour it!
Had a look on your soundcloud, like a spy, hehehe, you sounds are realy nice and it radiates playfullness, just as you where playing around. Like to hear that kind of mood.
Of course, I cant give you an decent coment on it, but one day Ill try it. After I read the book.
Ever thought about making bird psy sounds? Came up with this idea last day. Sounds kinda crazy |

Ive gotten nice chirps from Arppe2600 which is a free ARP-2600 emulation, which was used to make R2-D2's voice in the original Star Wars movies. Theres not too many ARP emulations that Ive discovered, at least not many 2600s, theres some nice Odysseys, particularly the Oddity, I think thats a GForce one and has some good chirp presets
The Madrona Aalto can do similar sounds too and is really overall awesome.
Oh, also the developer xoxos has some explorations of various natural vocalization tracts, including birds I think, and they're free, his work overall is impressive, lots of explorations of various esoteric synthesis models, and a whole ton of algorithic and serial sequencer plugs, I haven't even really begun to understand half of them
