we r all noobs the learning is an infinite void, even the top producers, its all about progression, steady long curve of understanding, adjusting, adapting, concept, your power behind the achievment, why you are doing it,the goals, your insights and evolving, there is no one trick solution, its sumthin your mind has to steady its self to peice all the parts together till they fit the pieces till it all makes sense, one day it just happens, u will no longer obsess and ul just do it.... click tick boom

but how ever..if u think theres nuthin wrong then it means your ears cannot hear what mine can yet... i maybe even be totally wrong on this.

the kick maybe ok on its own, but does it sound like its working well with .. the tempo, the note, the bassline, the pitch decay, length, etc etc its your laboratory not mine,, if u think theres to much rez.. either lower it alil(coz it TAU i kno that a lil bit of rez thickins it) and slap a nice destortion on it instead or eq the fucker,, or both. if there is to much rez then the click of the kick will conflict the khz. round it off.
that a kick sample, no? if u dont think its the kick do sum note shortening on the piano roll. but i kno one thing... i can hear the fucker conflicting when i play it.... may even be that the bassline/sub is louder than the kicks, who knos coz its in YOUR HANDS...

just work on it mate, get that weird artifact sorted,, then post it with sum hats n stuff, because ul be suprised most kick n bass sounds shit on there own at that speed and lower, yeh can be better with lo end tightening but... ya get my drift!

I'd slow it down and get some kick and bass going between 140-146bpm. You can hear whats going on at that tempo easier with the envelopes, then when youve got that sounding good , increase the tempo to dark speeds and adjust to taste.

Like learning the guitar, you start with some basic foundations, not slayer solos, your starting with an extreme genre which might be not the quickest approach at first for learning
