some ppl think that a track over 145-146 bpm(for others much less)

no its not hehehe. there are only dark tracks maybe..? or dark parts inside tracks that can be considered dark sound or music.
i consider some older Ka-Sol and Xenomorph tracks to be fully dark
nowdays for my opinion you can find few of this dark parts in Alex prjects(matutero...), Parahalu sometimes and few artists mentioned here have this little dark touch .But for sure there are NO the so called Dark Artists!!! for my personal opinion always .
its like almost saying... occult artists or black artists?!!! or even worst!!! people with robes and stuff...!!!hehehehehe
cause if you listen to pop or disco music before,than many psytrance projects with a bit agressive or fast style will be concidered as DARK to you

yes metallaxis I agree with you...IMO dark means you got to FEEL IT!something emotional,that can reach the deepest corners of your mind...not just a bunch of random patterns and a fast kick/bass...(the best "dark" tracks I've heard are around 140-145).nowdays there is so much projects being labbeled "dark",but two years later they change they're style and attitudes...real dark projects are the ones that don't change the ideas,instead they develop them more and more...no matter what happens...one time dark,the rest of the musical life dark...of course it's only my opinion.
and to not get an off-topic
some works of:
-xenomorph
-ka-sol
-early dark soho
-some of the first parasense tunes
-some tunes by penta (didn't heard his new stuff yet)
in some songs by this artists I can feel that so called "dark" and understand that they were made with feeling and the intention to transmit a message...wasn't (all kinds of) Trance about this??!!well...I think nowdays there is a big lack of this "messages"...it's sad,but there is always the hope for a change 
one more time IMO,don't kill me

droidsect is actually digital talk if i am correct.. some dark projects, at least as far as my perception of dark goes, are cosmo, naked tourist, quasar, mubali, ghreg on earth, dronebixie (freaky dark hehe), derango, abnormal project, terminator, kerosene club, zik, the nommos (goa gil) and i think highko... |
