Hello
im trying to make dark nebula-kinda leads. Im sure theres lot of FM and dist in them. any other have any tips?

He uses all hardware for his leads... I think the infamous Dark Nebula lead that you are thinking about (see Dark Nectar and Cleopatra Cannonball) was made on the Waldorf Q. (I asked him)

why not make whatever you want!
I have found that it is VERY helpful to post a snippet of the lead you are talking about, in case some people don't know it by name. Helps the synth-heads by giving them a sound clip to listen to and suggest what they think is in it.
