I was just wondering how many people are into this kinda stuff? I'm still waiting for a super dark party here in ny. There are definitely good artists that come here but I feel like no one really likes this stuff. am I wrong? I am dieing to see artists like Kannibal Holokaust, bash, or necropsycho. You might have to wait for World Bridge in Asheville NC this August. Otherwise, maybe spend the summer traveling Europe. In Germany alone this summer, there is a darkpsy party somewhere almost every weekend.

Yea I was gonna say that. I've met two of the guys in that group but never seen them perform. The trax on they're myspace sound nasty tho. I wonder if any of the deco guys ever had an idea of doing a party thats set up like a psychedelic haunted house. That woulld be sick.

Well since he has an Israeli flag I'd say it has to do with the word "Holokaust" ("Kanibal" is probably ok though)
I do think the "values" thing is really, really funny though, especially when I look back on all my psytrance festivity moments.
Or this "we" thing, since someone decided to speak for "me" in this case and Kanibal Holokaust is a well established, well respected, internationally performing psytrance project.
I'm curious as to which names do in fact promote said "values"... would make for an interesting, colorful discussion, to say the least.

Some of my favs are Neo-Vox, Bash, Kashyakk, Stranger, Paranioze, Flipknot, Detonatik, Terranioze, Furious, Coma Sector, and Kerosene Club. MMMmmmm....
I love me some heavy pounding dark sound-scapes with that hair tingling almost scared feeling you get when the horror melodies come in.
West coast has more dark acts than the midwest in my opinion...
I am tring to get "dark" more regular here in CO but it takes time to work it in, more of a psydub scene here.Damn hippies!
I have always been into horror films and the dark side of life though...

I can understand why that name would upset someone like you but the name is taken from the movie cannibal holocaust. http://www.megavideo.com/?v=AVAMS5NS I'm still new to the scene but I think people don't understand that there is like a balance. Like good and evil. You need a balance. And people who listen to dark psy come from more of a metal backround where people who prefer more melodic goa stuff come from more of an early electronica backround. I guess people who don't like horror movies and dark surreal things will not understand dark psy. Like I've always wanted to start a mosh at a dark party but I know that would never work. People would get really pissed. I mean how cool would it be to be in a ragin circle pit listening to pounding dark psy. Also I hate lyrics in psy but I've always wanted to somehow incorporate death/grindcore vocals in dark psy. Like a super low chris barnes growl. BTW wichdokta did you mean Kashyyyk? Cause that guy is sick! The breakdown at 3:16 is nasty.
