The first darkish/heavier goa was Juno Reactor's "Beyond The Infinite" I think.

Hello there! Try this compilation I mixed for a small old goa trance party. I also compiled only 140 bpm + tracks, with a hard kick and rich melodies. Hope you like it!

Sorry, but none of the recommended artists so far have made Goa trance with the same level of purity as Optica, Darshan, OOOD, The Green nuns of the revolution and Shamanic tribes on acid have.
What I'm looking for is fast (focused on pronouncing continuous 16th note beats), acidic, minimalistic and dark (minimal melody and no hint of full on-sound).

What you are looking for is maybe rare to find...and it really already exits the era of goa production, even though some tracks are produced in that time.
Not many artists went into producing this kind of music, fusing more elements(tech-psy-goa trance), and it quickly after went in what we today know as psytrance.
You should follow some aliases or side project's of artists that you like, check their record labels and you will quickly discover something that will catch your ear.I havent found a full concept album of this style though.
I think this supplies the repetative, but hypnotic drive you are looking for in the music.
(check their full album)
also someone mentioned Mino, which i agree is very close to what you want.

Well, according to the technical description of what you want, no one can be more "acid" than Adrenalin Drum.

Thank you! This post pushed me do some deep digging myself. I realised that the best thing you can do is to check the good artists productions! Have found some more artists this way. I'll listen to everything carefully (to be sure) and update the list later...
