nice mix, never listened to suomi much before, the first track is so yummy with the drums on the top!
anybody able to reccomend some quality releases to buy form 2008? *best to pm me please as this is off topic I guess  *

Dark el kante I got your email and will reply in a minute.
When I mix suomi I also play to the last drop then bounce right into the next track which I make sure carries on the story or energy or flow. Fun thing about suomi is all styles are represented, with no 'genre rules' or formulas. So the set can go from fun and bouncy one minute to deep and psychedelic the next and it's all good. Love that!

suomi is the style different and explosive ...some like rock n roll! and great track listing, more sounds like these are needed to round out and educate some psy listners on this site and open minds

and once again Suomi has blown my mind!!! KICK ASS set from Dark el Kante. The first time I heard Suomi was with some of the Deep Fryer sets posted here a while ago and those are really good sets as well. What an amazing and innovative style of music, ultimate goa-delic funk music. Would really love to hear this kind of music at a party here in California. cheeers!

You're right Psylosopho:
This track is made by Pepe Kosminen, who is one of the founding fathers of the Suomi trance, and he influences all producers in this genre.
I know he was producing tracks by various projects and side-projects like LIGHTAMAN JR,
FLYING SCORPIONS (with Timo from Mandalavandalz),
SQUAREMEAT (with Francoise Faggot),
GRUUVIT MUUVIT (with Pii -Chill Band of Sora-)and
F-VIRUS (with Ville from Salakavala)
