i'm looking for some artists that would mix well with midimiliz/boshke beats style stuff.
i kinda already know what's around in the psy scene so i'm looking for stuff more along the lines of a dark atmospheric electro techno sort of thing.
any help is much appreciated.

hey guys, thanx for the suggestions.
i've actually already got both albums of spirallianz and the delta, and yeah completely agree it's amazing stuff.
i've got one old track from opsis and it's really nice so i'll definately check out some more. thanx
but what i'm after at the moment is actual techno that would mix well with the tech trance i already have.
for example after seeing some top ten lists here and on the boshke beats web site, i recently picked up some 12" from matt french and some stuff off the hidden agenda techno label.
it's great dancefloor techno that has a real dark atmosphere to it, and i could see it mixing very nicely with x-dream, midimiliz, authentik etc.
and hearing the two styles mixed together i think would create a very nice cross over sound.
anyway thanx again for the suggestions and keep 'em coming.

You should try looking at labels like Ascend, with artists such as Quartz. Also Toneman makes some nice techich trance tracks.. Primate is a good label to look at also..

Get the opsis album. It nails it.
I would have said tetraktys too from what I've heard of his tracks on comps, but the album was sold out straight away! Buggers, how am I supposed to get it, I ask you?

@ Spudgun
If you ever come to South Africa for a little holiday, you should check out some of the Teknotribe parties happening every month in the Jo'burg area. The DJ's/artists pretty much play & produces the styles you're looking for. I think they're planning to have a release later this year.

cheers clown, that's what i'm looking for. thanx for the link. twisted techno that builds and doesn't just bang out the same loop for five minutes.
do you know of anything else like that?
hey liesls, those parties sound wicked. i might have to start saving for a holiday, instead of spending everything on cd's... hehe. i'll definately keep an eye open for that release.
thanx for other suggestions too. platform's next on my wishlist.

Spirallianz have relased one of THE most dark and atmospheric tunes in psy-trance history.
